If you have followed my photography a while you know that in the past I did very posed newborn sessions. I spent a lot of time and money training how to do perfect posing. Sessions were held in a warm 80-82 degree studio and last anywhere from 2.5-4 hours. Very careful attention was paid to making sure cheeks, fingers, toes, and wraps were all perfect. Which can take time. Babies were best photographed under 2 weeks of age and fed and sleepy.
Recently, I decided to throw my hands at lifestyle photography. Well, you all I am hooked! I come to your home for these sessions. So much more relaxed. No high temps, no making sure everylast detail is perfect. The perfection lies in your family connections, in all those sweet scrumptious newborn details. Their wrinkles, hair, toes and more.
Big siblings can be themselves and enjoy thier new sibling or go play when they are done. Sessions are much faster and the results are sooo yummy.
I decided to offer two options for these sessions as some people still like a few posed shots. So here is an example of a hybrid session. I did lifestyle mostly for all of the family and sibling and some of baby. A few more posy shots of mom and dad and baby and then, I had two props for some posed shots. I hope you all like the result, I sure do!
Meet Ezekiel and his big sisters. Warning, very photo heavy post. I mean how do you choose??
